Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born 25th November on the 25th of November, 1968) is a Canadian actor, performer and singer that made waves in American television. The most famous of her works are her stunning performance on the American TV programs like Law & Order (where she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three seasons in the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy showed her talent in independent movies such as Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy began her career in 1988along with her sister, as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. She briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in Broadway in the year 1990. It was 1993 when the actress left the realm of musicals and into the genre of sci-fi as Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the fall of that year, she joined the cast for the NBC sensational crime show Law & Order in the role as assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. Parker has been featured in movies and shows such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America where she won the Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Parker has also been the recipient in 2001 of the Tony Award for Best Actress for her role in the Broadway show Proof.
